How not to change the subject on contraception

I don’t know if you’ve seen this, but this strikes me as a highly ineffective way to change the subject from the contraception mandate:

This is Foster Friess, wealthy businessman and financial backer of a Rick Santorum SuperPAC.

I take, primarily, one thing away from this – It’s entirely possible to make a cogent, reasoned defense against the contraception mandate on the grounds of conscience and religious liberty. However, to show such incredibly flat-footed ignorance about contraception undermines your argument (whatever that argument is). If you don’t understand the issue that is related to your objection, then it’s difficult to take your objection seriously on its own merits.
